Sheryl A. Campbell

Sheryl Ann Campbell, daughter Russell and Sophie (Bartelson) Petersen, was born January 16, 1942 in Marshalltown, Iowa. She attended the Center School Polk No. 5 one mile north of Redline, Iowa then graduated from Irwin High School.
On August 1, 1960, Sheryl was united in marriage to Merle Campbell at Merrill’s Grove Baptist Church in Fiscus, Iowa. After their marriage, Sheryl was a stay-at-home mom to: Cindy, Tami, Lance, Lonnie and Corey. She enjoyed gardening and sewing clothes for her children and grandchildren. She loved to talk with friends and spend time with her dogs. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Sheryl died surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa, attaining the age of seventy-seven years, four months and twenty-one days. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Larry Petersen and Harold Dark.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years Merle Campbell of Irwin, Iowa; children Cindy and her husband Ricky Luttell of Liberty, Kentucky; Tami Campbell of Irwin, Iowa; Lance Campbell of Carroll, Iowa; Lonnie Campbell of Manilla, Iowa; Corey Campbell and his wife Debby of Irwin, Iowa; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; a great friend, Bev Christensen; and other family members and friends.
