Shirley Mae Baldwin, daughter of Stoker and Vivian (Lamb) Earlywine was born December 12, 1935 in Logan, Iowa. She attended country school in Lakeview and Logan, Iowa before graduating as salutatorian from Magnolia School in 1954.
Shirley was united in marriage to Howard Beaman. Three children were born to this union: Daniel, Susan, and Joe. She was later married to Earl Baldwin.
Shirley always planted large gardens, that she canned and froze vegetables of all kinds. She also butchered many chickens. She love to sew and was a beautiful seamstress. She also enjoyed crocheting and made many afghan blankets. Shirley collected many dolls throughout the years. She loved her church family and doing things for other people.
Shirley passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan, Iowa, attaining the age of eighty-seven years, five months and twenty-two days. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Earl Baldwin, siblings Ilene Weed, Maxine Smith, Marcella Earleywine, Merlin Earleywine, Duane Earleywine, and Ronald Earleywine.
She is survived by her children Dan Beaman and his wife Peggy of Brayton, Iowa; Susan Errickson of Sioux City, Iowa; Joe Beaman and his wife Lori of Atlantic, Iowa; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings Gail Earleywine and his wife Doris of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Glen Earlywine and his wife Nancy of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Carol Earleywine of Denison, Iowa; nieces and nephews; other family members and friends.
