Timmy Dean Edgecomb, son of Darwin (late) and Wilda (Pankonen) Edgecomb, was born on June 16, 1965 in Akron, Iowa. He attended grade school in Avoca and graduated from AvoHa High School with the class of 1983. While growing up you could find Tim working along side his dad in the shop.
After highschool he worked at Omaha Beef in Omaha, Nebraska where he resided in Council Bluffs. Tim met the love of his life Rhonda Su and on April 11,1987 Timmy Dean was united into marriage to Rhonda Su McDermott at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Jacksonville, Iowa and later made their home in Harlan with their 2 children. Tim started working for Western Engineering and then worked with Scott Petersen and Petersen Hauling before beginning his career in construction.
Tim was a huge Minnesota Vikings and Nascar fan, and loved rooting for the Iowa Hawkeyes and Chicago Cubs. He loved going to the casino, a cold Budweiser and was proud to be called "Papa".
On Sunday, April 25, 2021, Tim passed away at Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan, Iowa having attained the age of fifty-five years, ten months and nine days. In addition to his bride of thirty-one years, Rhonda, he was preceded in death by his father Darwin Edgecomb and 2 infant brothers.
Left to cherish all the memories are his children Alisha Edgecomb (Joey Ranney) of Harlan, Iowa; Josh Edgecomb (Stephanie Heller) of Avoca, Iowa; grandchildren Jaxen Ranney, Xavier Ranney, Jersey Myers, Jameson Myers, Olivia Ranney, mother Wilda Edgecomb of Avoca, Iowa; sisters Kim Kyle of Avoca, Iowa; Sandy (Tony) Michalak of Avoca, Iowa; Dawn Myers of Avoca, Iowa; other family and many friends.
