Timothy L. Hartvigsen

Timothy Leonard Hartvigsen, son of George and Sharon (Wohlhutter) Hartvigsen, was born January 23, 1957 in Harlan, Iowa. He was baptized and confirmed at the Lutheran Church in Kimballton, Iowa. He attended Harlan High School and graduated with the Class of 1975, and attended 1 year of business school at AIB.
Tim worked as a travel agent at 4 Seasons Travel Agency and tended bar at the clubhouse at the Harlan Golf and Country Club. He loved to travel and ride his bike, he always looked forward to participating in RAGBRAI. Tim also found a love for the internet and online shopping. He was a very independent man that never gave up on his goals. He always had a positive outlook on life.
Tim died on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan, Iowa, attaining the age of sixty-one years, two months, and twelve days. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Sharon Hartvigsen, brother Dan Hartvigsen and his nephew Jacob Hartvigsen.
He is survived by his sister Karla Roecker of Harlan, Iowa; brother Kevin Hartvigsen and his wife Tracy of Audubon, Iowa; sister-in-law Carol Hartvigsen of Kimballton, Iowa; 3 nieces; 3 nephews; 6 great-nieces; 3 great-nephews; other family members and many friends.
