Warren A Becker

Warren A Becker was born on June 2, 1936 to Adelbert and Helen (Bolch) Becker in Dunlap, Iowa. He attended country school in Dunlap and graduated from Woodbine High School.
On October 8, 1960, Warren was united in marriage to Concetta “Connie” Schwery in Manilla, Iowa. There were four children born to them: Lori, Brian, Jodi, and Curt.
He farmed his entire life in the Dunlap and Defiance areas, retiring in 1998 and living in Defiance until 2013 when he and Connie moved into Harlan. He was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church and enjoyed camping, dancing, and being with his family.
Warren died at his home on Sunday, March 27, 2016 having attained the age of seventy-nine years, nine months, and twenty-five days. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Frances Barsby and Cecelia Miller, and brothers Murray and Myron Becker.
He is survived by his wife of over fifty-five years Connie Becker of Harlan, Iowa; children: Lori and her husband Kurt Wilkins of Perry, Iowa, Brian Becker and his wife Jenny of Papillion, Nebraska, Jodi and her husband Gary Dozler of Harlan, Iowa, and Curt Becker and his wife Tami of Glenwood, Iowa; thirteen grandchildren; other family members and many friends.
