William "Bill" Stuhr
February 3, 1937 — September 16, 2024
Bill was born on February 3, 1937, to Milda Errett and Edward Stuhr. He attended Harlan Schools until he left at a young age to help with the family farm. In 1954, he joined the United States Air Force. He was medically discharged after a Jeep accident. He owned several body shops and loved working on cars. He also loved teaching others to work on cars. He always had a story to tell.
Bill never married and had no kids, but he loved spoiling his nieces and nephews. After his retirement he moved to Las Vegas, where he lived until 1996. He returned to Harlan to take care of his mother. He remained in Harlan until his death. He died peacefully in his sleep on September 16, 2024, with family by his side. He is preceded in death by his mom and dad, two stepfathers, sisters Linda, Betty, JoAnn, Deloris, and brother Richard.
He is survived by his sister Diane Larsen and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
